Announcing the ADV-8102: lowcost, low latency 2-channel H.264 Encoder

AdvancedDigital Inc. is excited to offer our customers our new low cost and low-latency multichannel encoder, the ADV-8102.

The ADV-8102 is a 2-channel H.264/MPEG-2 encoder capable of up to 1080p resolution. Each encoding channel can work independantly or be combined into a single MPTS using the on board built-in multiplexer.

Some other notable features include:

• SDI /HDMI / CVBS/ S-Video / YPbPr input
• MPEG1 Layer 2, MPEG2-AAC, MPEG4-AAC, Dolby Digital AC3 audio encoding
• 2x ASI outputs (MPTS or 2x SPTS)
• CC (closed captioning), EIA 608 and EIA 708 support
• MPEG-TS output through UDP/RTP
